#6 wet desert

April 2015, it had not rained since a while in Cabo de Gata and here we are. With Peter Mansholt walking on the coast to Monsul, watching the white-headud duck and his blue bill, staying a while at sunset with the sirenas, looking for gold in Rodalquilar and ending in Las Negras.

#1 Orchids in Sierra de las Nieves, Malaga

Sierra de las Nieves, May 2013 – Guided by Manuel Becerra Parra, one of the popes of Andalucian orchids, this very first half-day event of the still official IPTS nature club made us discover a dozen of different varieties of orchis, ophrys, dactylhoryza, etc. and the famous local pinsapar (the oldest one of the region behind the group photo) and all this ended with a lunch and drinks in Ronda.
